What is Hypnosis?

Hypnosis has been described as an extraordinary quality of mental, physical, and emotional relaxation which bypasses the critical factor of the mind and thus the subconscious becomes highly responsive to suggestion. More simply, it is a natural state of relaxation where the subconscious mind is more open to suggestions. It is often used to change bad habits, beliefs, negative thoughts and patterns. Hypnosis has been around for thousands of years but has not quite gained the traction of some other therapy methods.
